Course Overview
100% hands-on. Create actual linearizations and profiles on a variety of wide format printers.
Everything required to complete a hands-on calibration session is provided:
- 8 wide-format printers
- Xrite and Barbieri spectrophotometers
- Media (various LexJet media like backlit, fabric, and more)
- Computers (you can use your laptop also)
Profiling details
- Basic steps to create custom profiles and manage specialty inks
- Color test forms and profile grading charts
- Create custom SPOT colors and utilize tools to ensure color accuracy
- Finally answer the question of “When do I need to recalibrate?” by implementing new verification tools

Requirements
The only thing needed is YOU! Everything required is onsite and ready, but you are encouraged to bring a Windows 10/11 laptop. Demo copies of Onyx 22 software will be available and can be loaded during class.
